Student Spotlight:

Luke Shrestha

Salsa

Luke started taking salsa lessons in Los Angeles to connect more deeply with the culture behind the Latin music he produces. He recalls his first class being the most intimidating, as he knew nothing about salsa at the time. However, with consistent practice, he gained confidence and started mastering the moves. One memorable experience was spontaneously dancing salsa at home with someone who also knew the steps—a fun and unexpected moment. For Luke, salsa has been an enjoyable way to stay active and learn a new skill. He describes the community as super friendly and praises Danny for his positive energy and knowledgeable teaching style, which keeps every class fun and engaging.

Luke shares his dance journey through the following interview questions.
